State Rep. Anthony supports common sense economic development practices

Wednesday, February 5, 2020

“When companies don’t follow through on delivering the job opportunities they promised, the responsibility to foot the entire bill should not fall back on hardworking Michiganders. Mandating proportional reductions in state support when this occurs isn’t just good business —  it’s common sense. I’m proud to have co-sponsored this important legislation with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and continuing to work on ensuring Michigan is a place that can maintain a healthy balance of supporting economic development and protecting our residents’ pocketbooks.”
